Chinese Dragon Gate
This design features a bright and dazzling Dragon in vivid colors, encrusted with scales of Special Stitches and beads. Above the Dragon is a typical Chinese Gate, richly carved and embellished with lacquerwork and glazed tiles in lovely shades of teal and turquoise. The silhouette of a far-away landscape is faintly visible and two Cranes fly over the horizon....
The design is framed by an ornate brocade frame in deep blues, interrupted by 4 different Bonsai-Trees. Corner ornaments pull the design together - in the bottom half there are additional Camelia Flowers for "Good Luck". "Luck" is the scripted Chinese sign in the center of the gate you can stitch - or use the added (western) Alphabet to put in your initials and a year.
Please note that we can no longer get the Eterna threads. There is a DMC conversion included in the materials list which you can use instead of the Eterna silks.
